Death of Lydia's Birth Parents

[[Lydia's Birth Parents] died in a crash in Papua New Guinea during which Lydia was "saved by a miracle" and also Colonel Redacted. Her parents were on their way to East Timor working for the UK SIS/MI6. Her father knew it was dangerous and left her a letter discussing the chance he wouldn't make it back, there is no mention of God in the letter.

Colonel Redacted pulled Lydia from the wreckage and got her to the Swiss Embassy to route her home, has left her his contact details.
