Alpha

Werewolf packs have Alphas who are in charge. It is unclear why except they probably used time travel to read some research (L. David Mech's "The Wolf: The Ecology and Behavior of an Endangered Species" (1970), see also Dominance and the Alpha Wolf and the later correction material Alpha Wolf Concept) that turned out to be wrong.

Currently Juliana Kendrick is the alpha of the Southwark Bell Pack having won The Alpha Games at the end of Season Two.
